The F4 Eurocup 1.6

Led by the French Motor Sports Federation, the championship, associated with the Auto Sport Academy, hopes to incorporate both French circuits and Renault Sport technologies through the spirit of their 1.6 litre single seaters. It is anticipated that the youngsters will compete on the main French circuits on five occasions whilst also visiting Belgium for a round at Spa-Francorchamps. Thanks to the involvement of the Auto Sport Academy, all drivers will also have the opportunity to have training, in both mental and physical states linked to the practice of professional motorsport. This training, to be taking place twice during the season will be provided for by the Auto Sport Academy. At the end of the year, the Auto Sport Academy will award a prize to help one or more drivers access an upper formula the following year, which will more than likely be the Formula Renault 2.0 Championship.
